Dr. Tracy Loper is a Doctor of Medicine who is board certified in Family Medicine and General Psychiatry. He went to medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Waterford, Ireland and then attended the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa for his dual residency training in Family Practice and Psychiatry. Dr. Loper worked as the Medical Director for Family and Children’s Services before entering into private practice.

In 2006, Dr. Loper joined Strength of Mind in Claremore on a part time basis. As a result of his passion for his profession and this practice, his role evolved into a full time position. He sees patients varying from children to geriatrics for the purpose of evaluation for treatment options. In addition, he oversees the Claremore Regional Hospital senior care unit. Dr. Loper finds fulfillment when patients can say, “This really is working, I feel so much better, my life is so much better.”

When Dr. Loper is not practicing medicine here in Oklahoma, he is serving in the United States Army as a reserve soldier approximately every 2 years on 3-month tours. His military experience allows him to have a connection and greater understanding for both veterans and active duty families. Dr. Loper is devoted to his family and participates in Boy Scout activities with his two sons. He is also deeply involved in the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church. Recreationally he listens to music, reads, runs and bikes.
